The School of Business at Quinnipiac University invites applicants who are committed to excellence in teaching and contributing to a collaborative team to apply for a Visiting Assistant Professor position in Entrepreneurship and Strategy to begin August 2023. In this role, you teach existing courses in Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Strategy at the undergraduate and graduate level. Please note: This is an in-person position located on our Mt Carmel Campus, Hamden, CT.

Responsibilities:
|
- Teach experiential courses both on ground and online in the Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Strategy domains, in addition, may be asked to teach International Business courses.
- Teaching load is 4/4 (Visiting).
- The position will support recruitment, advising, retention and co-curricular activities for students in the Entrepreneurship and Innovation major, minor and certificate programs.
- Other duties include, advise and mentor students; deliver active learning course content and engaging class activities; compile, administer, and grade assignments/ examinations.
- Help to build external partnerships for guest speakers, internships, job placement, and curricular development (e.g., sources of case studies).

Education Requirements:
|
- Ph.D. in entrepreneurship, innovation, strategy, or a closely related field (ABD candidates with a clear completion timeline will be considered) from an AACSB accredited Business School
|
Qualifications:
|
- Evidence of research potential (e.g. published papers in high-quality journals, manuscripts under review and/or revise-and-resubmit, presentations in peer-reviewed conferences)
- Demonstrated experience working with diverse groups/populations
- Demonstrated proficiency in written communication skills
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal and oral communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Scholarly activity to meet Quinnipiac School of Business-AACSB Scholarly Academic (tenure track) standards
- Experience or expertise in emerging technologies, design thinking, blue tech, small/new firm finance, venture bootstrapping and scale-up
- Research program in one or more of these areas: entrepreneurship, innovation and technology transfer, sustainability, social finance and strategy
- Experience teaching at the undergraduate level and/or graduate level
- Demonstrated evidence of scholarly publication
- Experience in grant writing, preferably in collaborative projects
- Demonstrated ability to teach undergraduate courses in various modalities
- Demonstrated ability to engage in innovative teaching on an individual and team basis
- Demonstrated ability to engage in service activities; e.g. at the college, university, and professional levels
- Demonstrated ability to engage in service activities; e.g. within the regional, state and the business communities
