Dear AoM PNP members:
We are pleased to announce that we are planning a special issue on Nonprofits and Democratization for the journal Public Administration and Development. The focus is on the contributions that service providers/development NGOs can make to democratization efforts in the era of closing civic spaces.
PAD (Impact Factor: 1.55) is a well-established journal serving both the public administration and international development fields and is also picked up by NGO scholars. The journal's scope includes low and middle-income countries (as per the World Bank's definition), although comparisons to high-income countries or high-income country trends affecting low and middle-income countries (eg, development aid, democratization strategies) are also covered.
Paper proposals/abstracts (300-500 words) are due by February 26, 2021.
Very best,
Special Issue Guest Editors
