    Dear Colleagues,

We cordially invite you to submit your research on Smart Cities & Digital Government to the 'IoT, Smart Cities & Digital Government' track of the Pacific Asia Conference on Information Systems (https://pacis2025.aisconferences.org/) to be held in Kuala Lumpur, the capital city of Malaysia, between 5-9 July 2025.

CfP PACIS2025 - 'IoT, Smart Cities & Digital Government' Track (https://pacis2025.aisconferences.org/track-descriptions/#toggle-id-4)

The emergence of Internet-of-Things (IoT) technology has a critical role in the development of smart cities and digital government services. Advances in AI technologies, such as generative AI, have accelerated developments in smart design and urban planning. These innovations enhance urban spaces and improve the quality of life for citizens. Similarly, by integrating technologies such as IoT, AI, machine learning, and generative AI, digital government solutions can be enhanced to provide faster, more efficient, and seamless services to citizens. This track explores the deployment of cutting-edge advancements such as IoT and AI in shaping smarter and more sustainable cities and governments.

We invite papers that discuss the development, deployment, and impact of systems and solutions that leverage IoT in these areas. Additionally, we also welcome conventional research on topics related to smart cities and digital government from an information systems perspective, e.g., digital inclusion and digital democracy. While these can be from a policy, organizational, or social angle, the research questions and research focus should be socio-technical oriented. Submissions of all methodological orientations are welcome, be it qualitative, quantitative, design science, or mixed method. Papers submitted could either take the form of a Completed Research Paper (16 pages maximum) or a Short Paper (8 pages maximum).

Potential topics include (but are not limited to):
