Dear Colleagues,
We would like to invite you to our PDW (17175) which introduces the burgeoning new area of practice and work on Neurodiversity Inclusive Organizations and Autism @ Work. Our two-hour workshop lays the groundwork for scholars to answer the call for incorporating neurodiversity into their research and teaching by sharing findings from the latest research and systematic literature reviews, an in-press special issue on the topic in Journal of Management & Organisation, as well as a case study of an employment program designed to recruit and select adults on the autism spectrum. Additionally, participants will be equipped with material useful for building a business case for neurodiversity and incorporating neurodiversity into their management learning and development activities. Lastly, the PDW will facilitate the development of a new interest group listserv hosted on the AOM website where the PDW information and outcomes will be made available and where other AOM members will have the opportunity to join the listserv community.
Pre-registration is required and registrants will receive a pre-work illustrating how autism manifests in the workplace. Register by sending an email to susan.hayward@mq.edu.au
We hope you will be able to join us in this important PDW.
