    Assistant/Associate Professor in Public Policy & Administration

    A full member of the Association of Professional Schools of International Affairs (APSIA), the Steven J. Green School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) invites applicants for a tenure track position at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor in its Department of Public Policy and Administration. The start date is Fall 2023. A Ph.D. in Public Administration, Public Policy, or a related field, is required. The successful candidate should have a strong record of, or a demonstrated potential for, scholarly success in the areas of public budgeting and finance, public management, sustainability, social equity, or a related public policy research field. The ideal candidate should also demonstrate abilities to enhance diversity in research, teaching, community engagement, and/or departmental governance. A strong potential for obtaining external research support is preferred. ABD candidates will be considered with the expectation that the Ph.D. is completed before the start date. Candidates already appointed at the Assistant Professor level are also encouraged to apply.

    The Department of Public Policy and Administration offers the Bachelor of Public Policy and Service, Master of Public Administration, and Ph.D. in Public Affairs. The faculty is currently engaged in cutting-edge applications of emerging data and public policy analytics in disaster mitigation and recovery, community equity and inclusion initiatives, and sustainability. Green School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) received full membership in the Association of Professional Schools of International Affairs (APSIA). This prestigious organization includes the top 40 schools of international affairs in the world. The SIPA is among 25 in the US with this designation, 5th in the Southeastern United States, and the 1st and only in the State of Florida.
