Dear Colleagues,
We are organizing a presenter symposium submission on Employee Volunteering Research for the upcoming Academy of Management conference in Boston, 2023.
Following the success of our PDW 'Research at the Intersection of Work and Volunteering' in Seattle, we invite authors to submit working papers examining how employers and work conditions can facilitate (or not) employee volunteering, as well as how the community, third sector and beneficiaries are related to traditional employer-employee relationships and are ultimately influenced in a positive, negative, or neutral way given their relationships with employers and employees.
In the proposed symposium, four research papers will be presented and discussed. If you are interested in presenting your research, please email me, Bethania Antunes, at b.antunes@lse.ac.uk by December 20 with an abstract of around 300-500 words max. This abstract should contain the project title, author(s), key ideas and contributions, and a description of the methods, data, and analysis (if applicable). We aim to inform participants if their abstracts align with the symposium by December 23. For the final submission of the symposium each paper will be allowed 2-5 pages for its synopsis.
