    The  ASAE Outstanding Academic Publication on Membership Organizations Prize

    We are seeking peer and self-nominations for an outstanding research publication award. This competitive award will be given for academic research published between January 1, 2010 and January 1, 2012 on membership associations or member-driven organizations.  The author(s) of the chosen publication will receive an award of $5000.  Travel expenses to accept the award may also be covered up to $1000.  Unfortunately, at this time only U.S. residents are eligible for the prize. Please send nominations with citation information to institutefornonprofits@ncsu.edu.  I look forward to reading the nominated publications.  The Institute for Nonprofits at NC State University has set up a committee to review all nominations and choose the inaugural recipient of the prize. Nominations for the 2012 prize are due by February 10.  Our plan is to offer the award annually.  The sponsor of the prize is the ASAE Foundation.
