I am using Hirschman's (1970) typology of Exit, voice, and loyalty in my dissertation. I am familiar with subsequent research that built and expanded the topology (Farrell and Rusbult) which are basically applicable to individuals. I was wondering if you know of and could suggest any research academic readings that apply the typology to organizations in general and nonprofits/NGOs in particular.
