    UT-Dallas is hiring an Associate/Full Professor in Public and Nonprofit Management

     

    The Public and Nonprofit Management (PNM) program at The University of Texas at Dallas seeks to fill a tenured Associate/Full professor position in public administration. Expertise in areas such as public management, behavioral public administration, equity and democratic governance, or collaborative governance is desirable. The position is a full-time, 9-month appointment. The start date is August 2023. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to excellence in scholarship, teaching, and service. We are looking to hire a leading public administration scholar with a proven track record and publications in the top ranked outlets of our discipline.

     

    Applicants must hold a PhD in an appropriate field (e.g., public affairs, public administration, public management, public policy). All applicants must present evidence of an outstanding research record and scholarly reputation. Teaching responsibilities include courses at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. The standard teaching load within the school is two courses per semester, for a total of four courses a year. A successful candidate is expected to improve UTD visibility both nationally and internationally, engage in community outreach especially in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, pursue grant opportunities, chair dissertations, and serve on program, school and university committees.
