    Dear colleagues,

    As this year’s PDW Chair, I’d like to spotlight some of the professional development workshops the division will be sponsoring this conference. I hope to see you at these sessions in Boston!

    Quality Reviews, Quality Articles: Editor Panel of PNP Journals
    Saturday August 5, 3:00 PM - 4:30 PM in the Clarendon Room, Park Plaza

    This session will provide the opportunity to learn about public and nonprofit management journals and ask questions about the peer review and publication process. There will be editorial representation from the following journals: Administration & Society, JPART, NVSQ, NML, PPMR, ARPA, and VOLUNTAS.

    PNP Scholarly Development: Writing Impactful Research Narratives
    Sunday August 6, 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM in the Berkeley Room, Park Plaza

    This session is designed for nonprofit and public administration scholars, as well as others, that are interested in better conveying the impact of their research through narrative – on the job market and for promotion and tenure. Panelists will include Eva Witesman, Professor, Brigham Young University; Anders Ryom Villadsen, Professor, Aarhus University; and Russell Hassan, Professor, The Ohio State University.

    Strategy for Nonprofits
    Saturday August 5, 9:00 AM - 11:30 AM in the Exeter Room, Park Plaza

    The goal of this session to help scholars develop ideas on using nonprofits in their management research. Participants will include Lyda Bigelow, University of Utah; Aseem Kaul, University of Minnesota; Jennifer Kuan, Cal State Monterey Bay; Emily Nwakpuda, University of Texas - Arlington; and Jasjit Singh, INSEAD.

    Researching Artificial Intelligence, Organizations, & Management
    Saturday August 5, 12:00 PM - 2:30 PM in the Terrace Room, Park Plaza

    The purpose of this session is to help scholars develop ideas to advance interdisciplinary research on AI, organizations, and management. Panelists include: John Basl, Northeastern University; Aravind Chandrasekaran, The Ohio State University; Dennis Hirsch, The Ohio State University; Lily Morse, West Virginia University; John Ratzan, Pace University; Renee Richardson Gosline, MIT; and Benjamin Shestakofsky, University of Pennsylvania. The session is organized by Megan LePere-Schloop, The Ohio State University; Noushi Rahman, Pace University; and Rebecca Tekula, Pace University.
