    Dear all

    I was invited to organize a special session on the topic    : 'Building strong nations:improving governability and public management'.
    during the coming meeting of the IIAS (International institute of Administrative Sciences) in Helsinki (July  2009)

    I invite those of you who are interested to take part to contact me.
    It is my intention to build a discussion around topics related with the struggle of bureaucracy and democracy in times of economic crises and the potential tracks for improving governability in modern nations.
