    I  am sending a link to a blog I just posted on a paper by Prof. Dominik Vogel of Potsdam University in Germany and Alexander Kroll of Florida International University (it is only in line-editing for now, will come out in a year) in the International Public Management Journal that is a very interesting study, both methodologically and substantively, of public service motivation.  I try in the blog to translate scholarly research into advice for practitioners, and I hope people will find this a useful example of an effort to make such a translation.
