The Master of Nonprofit Leadership program at Seattle University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor beginning in September 2015. Seattle University is dedicated to educating the whole person, to professional formation, and to empowering leaders for a just and humane world. This mission is well aligned with the Master of Nonprofit Leadership program which teaches students how to lead so that they can change the world.
Responsibilities include teaching courses in fundraising, marketing, finance and/or philanthropy at the master's level, with occasional teaching at the undergraduate level. The successful candidate will also be expected to develop and maintain an active, high quality program of research/scholarship, and engage in program and university service activities.
Ideal candidates will have experience teaching adult learners/working professionals and experience teaching online-hybrid classes. The candidate should have experience working with and/or consulting in nonprofit or philanthropic organizations as well as evidence of high quality research in the areas of nonprofit fundraising, marketing, finance or philanthropy.
Required: Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree in a field of study related to the nonprofit sector.
