    is rather sector agnostic for those looking to move to a business school
    from a public admin program.

    FACULTY POSITION IN ORGANIZATIONAL BEHAVIOR/ORGANIZATION THEORY

    Description: Tenure-track position in the Department of Management at the
    assistant professor level. The position calls for a motivated individual
    with excellent teaching ability and a record of scholarship commensurate
    with the length of the period since completing the Ph.D. The successful
    candidate should possess a strong background in organizational behavior and
    organization theory and an interest in teaching our core undergraduate
    management course. Additional interests in organization change and
    development and/or managing cultural diversity are preferred. Experience
    working with a diverse student body and staff is a desired attribute.
    Anticipated starting date: September 16, 2007. Salary: commensurate with
    qualifications.

    Required: Ph.D., DBA, or ABD in final dissertation stage, and relevant
    teaching experience. Applicants must provide evidence of effective teaching
    and high promise of scholarship in organizational behavior and theory.

    University: Western Washington University is nationally recognized for its
    educational programs, students, and faculty, and ranked second for public
    masters universities in the west by U.S. News and World Reports. Enrollment
    is approximately 12,500 students on a 224-acre campus. WWU is in the
    waterfront city of Bellingham, Washington (population 70,000), located
    between Seattle and Vancouver, B.C. Many outdoor recreation opportunities
    exist in the local ski resorts, national parks, and islands.

    College: The College of Business and Economics is considered a leadership
    unit within the university. Accredited by the AACSB International, the
    College is comprised of five departments and has sixty-two full-time
    faculty, and was listed in Princeton Review¹s Best 143 Business Schools.
    The college offers B.A. degrees in Business Administration, Accounting, and
    Economics, a B.S. in Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management, and an MBA.
    The Department of Management offers concentrations in general business,
