Call for Nominations for the H. George Frederickson Award for Career Contributions to Public Management Research The purpose of the H. George Frederickson Award for Career Contributions to Public Management Research is to
honor a senior scholar
for exemplary contributions to the intellectual development of the field. Both written scholarship and contributions to building professional
capital (e.g., journal development and other means of advancing PM scholarship and information) related to public management scholarship
will be considered. Established by the Public Management Research Association (PMRA), previous winners of the award are
Laurence Lynn, Jr., Christopher Hood, Beryl Radin, and Kenneth J. Meier.
Nominations must include a letter explaining why the nominee merits this recognition, as well as the nominee's curriculum vitae. The Award
Committee may also consider other individuals who in the judgement of its members deserve consideration for the award. Questions may be
directed to any member of the Award Committee.
Nominations should be e-mailed to each committee member by Tuesday, January 15, 2013. The Frederickson award will be presented at the 12th
Public Management Research Conference to be held at theUniversity of Wisconsin--Madison from June 20-22, 2013.
