I am looking for cites on experiments of this type. One thing I am particularly interested in is field experiments involving real workgroups, where you want to get an individual measure of a decision to volunteer, but volunteering may in real life be more of a group/team decision (everybody will volunteer or not), so the tendency in the field experiment would be for subjects to talk with each other about the decision.
Any cites about this? Or ideas about how to proceed? I guess we could simply instruct subjects not to communicate, but this might be somewhat unnatural.
