    Eastern Connecticut State University is seeking applicants for a full-time, tenure-track appointment at the Assistant rank in management, to begin Fall 2014. Special consideration will be given to those with an interest (research, teaching or experience) in healthcare, community health, the service industry (e.g., hospitality), and/or non-profit organizations. Special consideration will also be given to those with management experience in one or more of these areas.

    Candidates must possess a Ph.D. or be ABD (degree awarded by Fall 2014) in business administration/management or a closely related discipline.

    Candidates should be able to teach courses in multiple areas including management and the new multidisciplinary health sciences major, with an opportunity to teach at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Candidates should be interested in teaching across disciplines in the university's Masters of Organization Management program.

    The university's Department of Business Administration houses programs in Accounting, Business Administration, and Business Information Systems; an interdisciplinary major in Labor Relations & Human Resource Management; and a Masters of Organization Management program. The Department has 20+ full time faculty, the majority of which are tenured or in tenure-track positions. The department's faculty is unusually diverse and many faculty have significant industry experience.
