    Dear All,

    I am writing on behalf of the Faculty of Management at CEPT University in India. The Faculty of Habitat Management offers a two-year Master's course in Habitat Management (MHM), which is focused on effective management of organizations associated with modern habitats, such as cities, towns, and municipal wards.

    The Faculty is looking for a host for up to ten students for a period of up to one week during its Winter School (First three weeks of December), 2014. 

    The objective is to expose the students to more effectively managed municipal corporations or at least a few parts of its functions at a city/town level, where the students would be able to observe the city/town, interact with managers of different functions and discuss their processes and challenges; also interact with academicians and fellow students. The students have been studying cities in India, of comparable size, complexity and challenges, and now we are providing ways to expose them to larger, more complex and more effectively managed cities/towns. 

    This visit would be placed between orientation sessions and reporting sessions, and we expect comparative studies with potential for publication. 

    CEPT University would reciprocate with similar hosting arrangement for a group of similar size. As a host, CEPT may arrange for home stays or budget accommodations and arrange for field visits and observations/interactions.

    I would be glad to answer questions and share more specific detail of the scope of the visit, and discuss possibilities.
