The Master of Nonprofit Leadership program at Seattle University invites applications for a two year full time Instructor (non-tenure-track) beginning in September 2015, with the possibility of renewal. Seattle University is dedicated to educating the whole person, to professional formation, and to empowering leaders for a just and humane world. This mission is well aligned with the Master of Nonprofit Leadership program which teaches students how to lead so that they can change the world.
Responsibilities include initiating a new certificate program in fundraising leadership, teaching graduate level courses in fundraising and financial management, and overseeing the practicum for master-level students. The successful candidate will also be expected to engage in program and university service activities. Ideal candidates will have experience teaching adult learners, designing and teaching online/hybrid classes, and working with or consulting in nonprofit or philanthropic organizations.
Required: Master degree in a field of study related to the nonprofit sector. Ph.D. preferred.
