    Postdoctoral Research Fellow (JOB # 11582)

    Arizona State University 


    The Center for Organization Research and Design (CORD) at Arizona State University (ASU) invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to begin August 1, 2016. 


    This is a full-time (1.0 FTE), benefits-eligible, 11-month appointment, with a possibility to extend to 12 months (or longer) based on funding availability.     The successful candidate would be expected to work with CORD faculty and students to manage and execute a recently funded research project on sustainable procurement in state and local governments, conduct research, and publish results via policy documents, conference papers, webinars and academic publications. Research activities involve development and administration of surveys and interviews, analysis of collected data, assistance with project reports and administration, and other related activities. 


    CORD focuses on high impact use-inspired organization research that transcends boundaries between sectors, policies, institutions and individuals. CORD's cross-national focus includes fellows, affiliates, and visiting scholars from leading academic institutions around the world. For additional information visit http://cord.asu.edu. 


    Qualifications: Qualified candidates must have a Ph.D. or expect to receive a Ph.D. by the start of the appointment. The successful candidate should have experience and/or interest in managing medium to large scale research projects, and possess strong oral and written communication and teamwork skills. Prior experience with public or private sector management within the fields of environmental policy, sustainability, and procurement is preferred. The disciplinary background is open.
