call for management book proposals

  • 1. call for management book proposals

I have published several books as editor of the IAP publishers Research in Management Education and Development series. They are super agile needing only two months from receipt of final drafts to publish. This compares with six to nine months that my other publishers require. I have been very happy with IAP's presence at the Academy of Management meetings and their sending catalogues to every member of the Academy. Therefore, when I received the below information that the publisher is looking for a sharp increase in books and series on management, I have decided (without consultation with the publisher) to forward this information to you. If you have a record of significant publication and are affiliated with a research university, I suspect you will find George Johnson at IAP, who handles management book acquisitions, receptive.

    Dear Management Specialist:

IAP- Information Age Publishing, Inc continues its efforts to build a premier publications program in the fields of Management, Leadership and Industrial & Organizational Psychology. We are interested in individual book proposals as well as series edited by officers for scholarly societies, divisions, interest groups etc. We have an EOQ that allows us to having printing on demand rather than holding high inventories. This cutting edge technology keeps books in print too. We publish journals, book series, handbooks, encyclopedias, as well as monographs on all levels.

We are also pleased to announce an addition to our editorial advisory staff: Lawrence R.
