Keeping it simple in a complex world?
Responsible leadership and the ethic of care in small firms
Wednes
day 2
3
November 2011
Dear Colleagues,
We would like to invite you cordially to attend the Seminar Series: Responsible Leadership for a Complex World. The first
seminar
will explore the nature of responsible leadership in small firms, arguing for the ethics of care as a suitable lens through which to understand the form that responsible leadership takes in this context.
This seminar is the first in a
four part series
of CSR-related events held in both Hull and London led by
Hull University Business School
and the
Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales
(ICAEW), bringing together theory with practice and inviting participation not only in the seminars themselves but by putting learning into action.
About the speaker
Prof Laura Spence
is Director of the Centre for Research into Sustainability and a Reader in Business Ethics at Royal Holloway, University of London, UK.
The event is free to attend with refreshments and networking opportunities available from 5.30pm. Book
online
to reserve your place at this event.
