Happy New Year, colleagues. We invite you to sign up as a reviewer (link
below) for conference papers submitted to the Public and Nonprofit Division
(PNP) of the Academy of Management Annual Meeting, to be held August 1-5,
2014, in Philadelphia, PA.

In recognition of the importance of reviewing to public and nonprofit
management research quality, The Journal of Public Administration Research
and Theory (JPART) will give a plaque and Amazon gift card to the top ten
reviewers of conference paper submissions to PNP. Winners will be based on
the AOM-PNP reviewer ratings process, identified by the AOM-PNP Program
Chair, confirmed by the JPART Editor, and recognized at the PNP Business
Meeting on Sunday August 3rd.
Papers will be assigned to reviewers in late January 2014.
Reviews will be judged based on guidelines distributed to reviewers who sign
up. In these standards, we seek reviewers who:
**Set a positive tone in their critique;
**Write a substantive but concise review, typically one to two pages;
**Guide the authors on how the manuscript can be improved.
AOM-PNP conference paper reviewers who are members of PNP will automatically
be considered for the awards. Three of the ten awards will be reserved for
PNP doctoral student members. PNP members are limited to one award every
other year.
