    Plan to Attend the 2010 PMI Research and Education Conference

    On 11-14 July 2010, PMI will hold its biennial Research and Education
    Conference

    erence.aspx?WT.mc_id=REC2010listservposts> . This premier international
    project management research and education event will take place at the
    Gaylord National Hotel and Conference Center in Washington, DC, USA.



    Participation in the event is limited to 500 scholars, senior
    practitioners and students of project management and allied disciplines.
    Registration will open in January 2010 and will be available on a
    first-come, first-served basis.



    The conference aims to gather thought leaders in project management to
    share new research findings and to shape directions for the field. It
    will feature upwards of 60 sessions and, in addition to traditional
    paper presentations, will include new interactive session formats such
    as symposia and poster sessions.



    The conference will also feature new events: Global Accreditation Center
    (GAC) Academic Forum, which will be open to all attendees, and the
    Registered Education Provider (R.E.P.) Forum, which will be open only to
    PMI R.E.P.s.

    I would vote against a letter to Banaji and just go ahead with the report, wait for Gilbert and hope -- since I believe Gilbert's opinion will mainly be relevant to Jenn's and thus perhaps the Dean's view of whether we need an ad hoc, we could probably go ahead with a FACT decision, if need be, without it???
