The Theory to Practice section of Public Administration Review is seeking papers to be presented at the annual meeting of the American Society for Public Administration, March 14-18 2014 in Washington DC. For conference details: <

The Theory to Practice section seeks to directly demonstrate the relevance of research for public administration practice. Papers featured in this section rigorously summarize a body of research to identify a handful of key claims that can guide practitioners. This is a great opportunity to write a paper that exploits your knowledge of a literature in a format that differs from the traditional research paper approach. For more details about the Theory to Practice section and examples of these papers: <
http://www.aspanet.org/public/ASPA/Publications/Public_Administration_Review/Theory_to_Practice/About_Theory_to_Practice.aspx
>. Abstracts that are accepted for the panel will be considered for publication in Public Administration Review, subject to a double-blind peer review.
Abstracts should be no longer than 500 words. The abstract should identify the body of research and theory that the paper will draw from, citing exemplary pieces. Ideally, the abstract will also identify some initial lessons that can be drawn from this literature that are relevant to practitioners.
Please submit abstracts to Don Moynihan at
