We recently set up a "like" page for the International Public Management Journal (IPMJ) on Facebook.  We urge you to "like" it if you are on Facebook. Go to "International Public Management Journal."

There will be a raffle among the first 100 people who like the page – the winner will receive a free one-year electronic subscription to IPMJ (or a one-year extension if you are already a subscriber).

IPMJ is an SSCI-listed journal that currently ranks third of 37 SSCI journals in public administration.   We publish high-quality empirical and theoretical work on managing large organizations, particularly public organizations. We seek to provide a bridge between those conducting research on public management and public administration on the one hand, and those working in the areas of organizational behavior and organization theory on the other – hence our ongoing involvement with the Academy of Management.

We plan to feature on our new Facebook page dialogues about new articles in IPMJ as new issues come out.  We have also just launched a "Young Scholars Corner -- Ask A Research Question" feature in the Discussions section of our fan page -- click in upper right corner of the page, where it says "Discussions," to link. This is designed to give young scholars in particular (though all are welcome) a chance to get advice about research ideas, including whether something would be an interesting research topic, methods, etc. The editors will monitor this feature regularly and try to reply. Other page fans are encouraged to reply as well, and get a dialogue going.
