CALL FOR ABSTRACTS – IRSPM CONFERENCE 2017

We welcome paper abstract submissions to our panel on the "Dynamics of Diverse Workforces" at the IRSPM conference in Budapest, April 19-21, 2017.

In accordance with the conference theme "The Culture and Context of Public Management," this panel seeks papers that explore the underlying mechanisms of public sector workplace diversity.  Across different contexts, cultural expectations and norms give rise to contrasting views of managing and experiencing a diverse workforce.  We invite empirical papers as well as conceptual papers that discuss theoretical and methodological approaches for future research. We especially welcome papers on gender and careers in the public sector, ethnic-cultural diversity in the public sector, and the multi-generational workforce. As a concern that cuts across multiple facets of diversity and that differs across cultural contexts, we also welcome papers that discuss work-life balance relative to these topics.

Please see the attached document for more panel details.

We cordially invite you to submit an abstract to this panel by the deadline of October 7, 2016.
