Please join us for an interactive PDW at the intersection of nonprofits and strategy. Research on nonprofits has been appearing more frequently in management and strategy journals. The goal of this PDW, like last year's, is to help scholars develop their nonprofit research ideas. Our panelists will present their diverse perspectives on nonprofit scholarship in management journals, both as authors and as editors. We will then breakout into small groups so participants can share and develop research ideas.
Some research topics include nonprofit interaction with for-profits as competitors, complementors, and customers; member nonprofits that promote cooperative strategies; and social enterprises addressing grand challenges. Thus, we hope this workshop will provide a high-quality experience for participants from across the Academy's divisions.
