The thought of "automating the R&R process" raises ethical willies for me; I wouldn't accept a student paper that used ChatGPT for their writing. So I am frankly asking -- do we have consensus that the boundaries of what is one's own work are established enough to contemplate (or endorse) "automating the R&R process"? I think it would be a contribution to see such guidelines drafted, discussed, and established.
Of course, the "should we, and in what circumstances" may or may not come before the "this is how it works"; they may have to develop in tandem.
